  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice grape juice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha
  • 8 sweet Hawaiian slider buns
  • 1 cup broccoli slaw
  • Sliced green onions and peanuts for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Add minced garlic and sesame oil to the cooked beef; stir for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Mix in the ketchup, hoisin sauce, water, low sodium soy sauce, rice grape juice vinegar, and sriracha. Stir well to combine.
  4. Let the mixture simmer for about 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Slice the sweet Hawaiian slider buns in half while the mixture simmers.
  6. Spoon generous amounts of the beef mixture onto each bun bottom; top with broccoli slaw and sliced green onions, then add peanuts before placing bun tops.
  7. Serve warm with extra sriracha on the side.
