  • 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp onion powder
  • 1 ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  1. Cook the elbow pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and return to the pot.
  2. In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in milk until heated through (not boiling).
  3. Add cream cheese, mixing until smooth, then gradually stir in shredded cheddar until melted.
