  • 23 lbs stew meat (cubed)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 8 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 3 medium carrots (diced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Coat the beef: Place cubed beef and cornstarch in a gallon-sized freezer bag. Shake until all pieces are coated.
  2. Combine ingredients: Add the coated beef and all other ingredients to the slow cooker. Stir well to combine.
  3. Cook: Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 8 hours.
  4. Thicken sauce (if needed): Mix 1/4 cup beef broth with 1 tablespoon cornstarch, add to the slow cooker, stir gently, and cook on low for another 20 minutes to thicken.
