  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel pieces (divided)
  • 1/2 cup toffee pieces (divided)
  • Sea salt (optional for topping)

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Soften the butter in a microwave-safe bowl for about 20 seconds.
  3. Cream together softened butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix well until combined.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Fold in 1/4 cup each of caramel and toffee pieces.
  8. Use a cookie scoop to drop dollops of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake for about 10–11 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  10. Shape cookies using a mason jar lid immediately after baking if desired.
  11. Cool briefly before drizzling with remaining caramel and adding more toffee pieces.
