  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 12 ounces penne pasta
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook 12 ounces of penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, warm 4 tablespoons of olive oil. Sauté 4 minced garlic cloves for about one minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in 1 teaspoon each of dried basil and oregano, along with optional red pepper flakes.
