Ingredients

Scale
  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 250g egg noodles (or wheat noodles)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup broccoli florets

Instructions

  1. Cook the Noodles: Boil salted water in a large pot. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat vegetable oil. Add ground beef and cook until browned (about 5–7 minutes), breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Stir in minced garlic and ginger; cook for an additional minute.
  3. Make the Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and water. Pour into the skillet with the beef; stir well.
  4. Add Vegetables: Toss in sliced bell pepper, chopped green onions, and broccoli florets. Cook for another 3–5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Combine Everything: Add cooked noodles back into the skillet and toss gently until everything is well coated with sauce.
