  • 6 slices of turkey turkey bacon
  • 1 large white onion, diced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 500g ground beef
  • 250g dried macaroni
  • 480ml beef stock
  • 480ml whole milk
  • 150g grated cheddar cheese
  • Fresh chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a deep pot over medium heat, cook the turkey turkey bacon until crisp. Remove and set aside.
  2. Sauté diced onion in the remaining fat until golden; add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Brown the ground beef in the pot, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Stir in tomato puree, hot sauce, and mustard before adding the macaroni.
  5. Pour in beef stock and milk; season with paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer until pasta is al dente.
  6. Lower the heat; mix in cheddar cheese until melted and stir in chopped turkey turkey bacon and chives.
