  • 8 oz top sirloin steak
  • 1 large red bell pepper
  • 1 large yellow bell pepper
  • 1/2 large Vidalia onion
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 hoagie rolls

Instructions

  1. Whisk together marinade ingredients: lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, vegetable oil, vinegar, cilantro, garlic, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Marinate the steak for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Slice the red and yellow bell peppers and Vidalia onion thinly.
  3. Preheat two medium pans over medium heat with oil; one for the steak and one for the veggies.
  4. Cook the marinated steak in one pan until desired doneness; remove and slice thinly against the grain.
  5. In the second pan, add sliced veggies with leftover marinade; sauté until soft and caramelized (about 15-20 minutes).
  6. Cut hoagie rolls open on one side; place two slices of provolone inside each.
  7. Combine sliced steak with cooked veggies; fill hoagies with this mixture and enjoy!
