  • 14 oz Brioche loaf
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the Brioche into thick pieces (1/2 to 3/4 inch).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, eggnog, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, salt, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Preheat a large cooking pan over medium heat; lower to medium-low and grease lightly.
  4. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture on both sides and cook in the pan for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. To keep cooked slices warm while finishing the rest, place them in an oven preheated to 250°F (120°C).
