  • 8 lasagna noodles (broken)

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese

  1. In a Dutch oven over medium heat, cook chicken sausage for about 5 minutes until browned.
  2. Add carrots, onion, and celery; sauté for another 5-7 minutes until tender.
  3. Stir in garlic and Italian seasoning until well combined.
  4. Melt butter in the pot; sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to coat evenly.
  5. Gradually add chicken broth while stirring to avoid lumps; bring to a boil.
  6. Add broken lasagna noodles; cook according to package instructions minus about 2 minutes.
  7. Reduce heat to medium-low; stir in kale and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
