Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 strip steaks (or beef/chicken/turkey/lamb)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 16 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1/3 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • Seasoning (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Season the beef generously with steak seasoning.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Cook the seasoned meat for about 5 minutes on each side until desired doneness is reached. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  3. Boil water in a pot and cook the rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente.
  4. In the same skillet, leave about 2 tablespoons of drippings. Add flour, stirring for one minute before adding minced garlic and chicken broth to deglaze the pan.
  5. Lower the heat and mix in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, followed by red pepper flakes, oregano, thyme, and chopped sun-dried tomatoes until thickened.
  6. Drain pasta and add it to the sauce along with sliced meat. Mix gently to combine.
  7. Serve warm with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
