  • 24 ounces chocolate almond bark (candy coating)

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the semi-sweet baking bars in a microwave-safe bowl by heating for 1 minute, stirring, then continuing to microwave in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  3. Combine the melted chocolate with the thawed whipped topping using a handheld mixer on medium speed until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with an offset spatula. Fold over parchment paper and freeze for one hour until firm.
  5. Once firm, lift from the pan using parchment overhang and slice into strips; cut each strip into three pieces for a total of 36 squares.
  6. Melt chocolate almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl by heating for 1 minute and stirring until fully melted.
  7. Dip each piece of Cool Whip candy into the melted almond bark using a fork; let excess drip off before placing on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
