  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 400g cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the diced chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then cook for 6-8 minutes until no longer pink. Remove from heat.
  2. Boil salted water in a large pot. Add tortellini and cook according to package instructions (about 5-7 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute). Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth, then add nutmeg.
  5. Combine cooked chicken and tortellini with the sauce in the skillet, tossing gently to coat.
