  • 10 (8-inch) flour tortillas
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted, divided among the tortillas)
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup yellow onion (small diced)
  • 1½ teaspoons Montreal steak seasoning
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 5 cups shredded Colby jack cheese (from 2 (8-ounce) blocks)
  • 16 ounce jar hamburger (dill) pickle slices (45 slices per quesadilla)
  • ⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • ⅓ cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Brush one side of each tortilla with melted butter and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef with onions and seasoning until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce; cook for an additional minute.
  4. Place one tortilla in another skillet (buttered side down), add cheese, beef mixture, more cheese, and dill pickle slices. Top with another tortilla (buttered side up).
  5. Cook until golden brown on both sides and cheese is melted; repeat for remaining quesadillas.
  6. Slice into quarters and drizzle with burger sauce before serving.
