  • 2 cans (20 ounces each) apple pie filling
  • ¼ teaspoon allspice
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ bag (10.8 ounces) chewy caramels, cut in half
  • 1 box butter yellow cake mix
  • ¾ cup salted butter, cut into squares

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Pour both cans of apple pie filling into the baking dish and sprinkle allspice and cinnamon over the top. Mix well.
  3. Scatter the halved caramels over the apple mixture.
  4. Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the caramel layer.
  5. Place the cold butter pieces on top of the cake mix.
  6. Bake for about 45 minutes until bubbly and golden brown, rotating halfway through.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
