  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup birria broth
  • 3/4 cup Oaxaca cheese
  • 3/4 cup cooked beef
  • 1 jalapeño (thinly sliced)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of butter; once melted, dip one tortilla into the birria broth and place it in the skillet.
  3. Sprinkle half of the Oaxaca cheese on the tortilla, followed by half of the beef and half of the jalapeño slices.
  4. Fold the tortilla in half when cheese begins to melt and cook for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Repeat with the second tortilla and enjoy warm.
